ELBRO AG secures Grässlin trademark rights for Switzerland

As a long-standing trading partner for all wholesale customers, ELBRO AG has secured the trademark rights of the time switch specialist Grässlin for Switzerland. This ensures that the proven Grässlin time switch technology range will continue in the future.

The production and trading company ELBRO AG, based in Bülach, Switzerland, has acquired the trademark rights to the Grässlin corporate brand as well as trademark rights to individual company products for Switzerland. The operations of Grässlin GmbH were discontinued due to insolvency at the end of 2020 and individual divisions were sold. In order to safeguard the product range and the ability to supply Grässlin time switches and control technology in Switzerland, ELBRO AG worked hard to acquire the trademark rights for Switzerland and purchased them at the beginning of the year. With the purchase of the trademark rights, ELBRO AG is not only consolidating its long-standing relationships with its trading partners, but is also planning to further expand the time switch technology sector in the future. „The purchase of the Grässlin brand has more than just an economic aspect for us. There has been a very close and friendly business relationship between Grässlin GmbH and Elbro AG for decades. We are therefore very keen to continue the Grässlin brand,“ says Christof Senk, CEO of ELBRO AG. „Thanks to the further development in the field of time switch technology, we can constantly expand our product portfolio and thus continue to supply our wholesale customers with innovative and high-quality products in the long term.“
