The ET18 earthing tester has had its day. The successor model ET24 is a new addition to ELBRO's range of low-ohm measuring devices. The ET24 meets all the criteria of the protocols according to the safety certificate (SiNa) and professionally checks earthing connections, protective conductors and potential equalization according to NIV/NIN. In addition, the ET24 measuring devices the standards according to EN 61557-4, electrical safety of the IEC/EN standards as well as the European safety regulations of the low-voltage regulations. Thanks to the fast calibration, the devices deliver extremely accurate and reliable measured values.
Variable lengths and extendable measuring tip
The measuring tip is attached to a cable with a length of 10 or 20 meters and is held by a cable reel with a robust housing with IP40 protection. If required, the cable can be extended to 40 meters with an additional measuring reel and is therefore always ready for use even at greater distances. The measuring tip can optionally be replaced with an extendable measuring tip from 50 - 85 cm. This accessory is particularly suitable for measurements in inaccessible areas. An ergonomic handle on the housing and a carrying strap also simplify the handling of the measuring device and offer the specialist particular convenience.
Immediate readability via display
The measured values are shown on a display in the housing and can be read immediately. At the same time, the data is automatically saved and can also be read out at a later time if required. The housing and display are extremely temperature-resistant and can therefore be used at temperatures from + 40C° to - 10C°. The ET24 measuring devices are battery-operated and allow individual measuring intervals of 2 - 5 seconds thanks to an intelligent inner workings.
